Nomination out for AXN Action Awards

The list of nominees is out for the AXN awards. As per reports, Aamir Khan has been nominated for his role in ‘Ghajini’. Hrithik Roshan has been nominated for the film ‘Jodha Akbar’ and finally, Akshay Kumar for his role in Tashan.

According to sources, this is what Aamir had to say for his nomination, he believes Ghajini is a film that required a lot of aggression that exposed the basic crude emotion of human loss. He is honored to be nominated in the best action film category, as the action in this film was more complex and thought provoking, which showcased anger, vengeance and physical violence.

In the best actor in negative role, the nomination are as follows, Imran Khan has been nominated for the film ‘Kidnap’, Kay Kay Menon for his role in ‘Drona’ and last but not the least, Saif Ali Khan for his role in the film ‘Race’. Sources further reveal that Saif is thrilled to be nominated for his role. He also said that he enjoyed performing the stunts and watching the film evolve into a suave piece of cinema. He also praised the film by adding that ‘Race’ is a thoroughbred action film, complete with flamboyance and panache.
