Vivah, a Sooraj Barjatya mvie talks about the contemporary Indian family and marriages. It is a story of today’s youth who are traditional enough and yet not orthodox. Prem (Shahid Kapoor) is a typical Indian youth who doesn’t want to fall into a marriage so soon. He is forced to meet Poonam (Amrita Rao) but changes his decision on seeing her and agrees for the marriage. Poonam is an orphan and was bought up by her chacha and chachi. Prem is the son of a business tycoon who is modern yet values traditions and elders. They get engaged and there is romance all over until something unsual happens and there is troubles coming up.

Being an all in all romantic movie which has all the traditional and modern aspect all spun into a single movie, the songs are also of the same genre and can be downloaded for free from songs.pk. The hit song of the song has been ‘Mujhe Haq Hai’ is about a couple who are engaged and about to give it in for a long lasting married life. This is no song that will make you dream, but will surely make you realize the essence of love. ‘Milan Abhi Adha’ is yet about a joining couple, but the song doesn’t make it big at the box office because of its ‘not so special’ music and lyrics. As in every other Sooraj Barjatya movie, a marriage number is a must, and you get it at ‘Hamari Shadi Main’ is a fast track about a guys impatience to get married.
