Movie Plot: Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is a Bollywood movie set in New York which went on to become the most successful Indian movie in the US. It explores the themes disability, jealousy in marriage and extramarital affairs. Dev is a soccer player who becomes handicapped after an accident. Brooding at his ill luck, he soon becomes jealous of his wife Rhea who is a successful fashion magazine editor and suspects she has an extramarital affair. On a parallel track, Maya is a kindergarten teacher married to Rishi, her childhood friend, but unable to reciprocate his love because of her lack of feelings towards him. A chance encounter brings Dev and Maya close together. The rest is a tell of lies, extra marital affairs and efforts to patch up.
