Set in Manhattan New York, this Bollywood movie revolves around a simple, bespectacled girl Naina whose life is nothing much to talk about. Burdened with usual problems of life faced by almost everybody she has come to accept her sad and boring life as unalterable. She has a friend Rohit who also accepts her sadness as inevitable. Things are suddenly turned topsy-turvy with the arrival of Aman in the neighborhood who befriends her and makes her learn how to be happy amidst all problems of life. Naturally, she has to fall in love with him but a complication arises as Rohit discovers that he too loves her.
