Race Movie Plot
Race is a Bollywood movie that packs glitz and glamor with the heart also in its right place. The stunning locales, the breathtaking visuals and the electrifying chase bring it close to Hollywood movies. The story revolves round two step brothers Ranvir and Rajiv, who own a stud farm in South Africa, breed horses on it and are the biggest bookies in the racing circuit. Sonia is an upcoming model who loves the elder brother Ranvir but due to a quirk of fate gets married to the younger one Rajiv who is a chronic alcoholic. In a weak moment, the elder brother and the younger brother’s wife come close to each other and all hell breaks loose when the younger brother comes to know of it. Contract killing, double crossing and ruthless investigation complete the movie.

Unlike most thrillers where music takes a backseat, Pritam’s music rocks in this movie. Race saanson ki, the theme song of the movie is also heard in another version race is on my mind with alternate Hindi and English lines. There is no dearth of variety either, with feet tapping allah duhai hai, soulful pehli nazar mein, saucy touch me and trendy sexy lady. Dekho nashe mein and mujhpe to jadu are also good numbers from the movie. All these are terrific compositions with masterly picturization and choreography.
