Dev D is a 2008 Romantic Drama film written and directed Anurag Kashyap as a modern day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas. The film was conceived by Abhay Deol, and then worked upon by Kashyap and it’s producer is Ronnie Screwvala. This is very advanced version of Devdas in which the main lead is shown taking heavy drugs, and killing many people with his car after that. Some scenes can be disturbing and it should not be watched with family. The songs and music of this film was super hit. Awesome music by Amit Trivedi + great lyrics + singing made the music album one of the best of the season. Some songs of the Dev D topped the charts for a long time and broke the records with high downloads.

Story of Dev D
