Dhoom Dadakka Songs

Dhoom Dadakka Album Cover

Comedy movies are the trend of the season with those flicks by David Dhawan and Priyadarshan. Director Shashi Ranjan has tried to create a similar comedy track with this Bollywood movie. The movie flows well and fares well in the first half, but falls low in the second half. The story begins on a funny track with a meeting of all gangster’s in Asia taking place in Bangkok. The two main Don’s Mungi and Fursat Lala fight over the handing over of an ambitious plan to the next generation. Mungi has no waaris but assertains that he has a son and will put him in front of the syndicate. He then searches for his sister’s son Kamal. Two people come forward claiming to be Kamal. So how will Mungi find out who is Kamal?

Dhoom Dhadakka songs are great but didn’t make it to the box office with its low end star cast. The title track ‘Dhoom Dhadakka’ is sung by the king of bhangra, Daler Mehandi and the queen of hindi pop, Jaspinder Narula, in spite of a great vocals and rocking music, the song falls short of good lyrics. The DJ mix version of the song is short and rocking. Such a good song should have been extended to over 4 minutes. Item numbers have become a fashion statement and even if the movie doesn’t fare well, a good item number can do wonders at the box office. With this in mind, the item number ‘Hari Om’ was released being picturized on Aarti Chhabria and sung by none other than Sunidhi Chauhan. The song is good as an item number and can be downloaded from songs.pk along with its remix version which is faster. And the last song is ‘Ara Ra Ra Ra’ which is a holi number with the Indian feel in it. And that’s it, with just three original tracks.
