Haal – e – Dil is a movie shot in great locales, with a cast of the youth, but a zero mark on the script and screenplay. The songs and its picturization has been done in a very attractive way, but the story has spoiled all the effort that has been put into. The story is basically a typical love triangle between two men and a girl and the girl is left with the choice to choose between the two, the typical Bollywood movie melodrama. The actors are all new comers, Amitha Pathka, Nakuul Mehta, and Adhyayan Suman who have done very good in the movie and should have opted for a better entry into the Bollywood scenario.

Even though the director has not been very choosy about the script, he has done his best to ensure that Haal-e-dil songs rock the box office. He has brought in 3 different composers, with 4 lyricists and 11 singers to make the album he worth boasting about. The title song ‘Haal-e-dil’ gives a beautiful melodious start to the album with the song sung by Rahet Fateh Ali Khan which has sufi elements mixed with Indian folk. The remix of the song, unlike all other remixes which has just different beats, this one is a new song altogether. ‘Rang’ has Ragav Sachar on the mike with his typical love beat and the effect is recreated in the remix version too. The sad version of the song has less of beats and more of melody by Sonu Nigam. Sonu Nigam has one of his best songs in his music career with ‘Jeeta Hoon’.
