Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam Songs

maangayemughleazam-2008-1b

The title of the song might give the song a feel to be set in the times of the king, but Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam is a full time comedy flick by Sanjay Chhel. Chhel has brought together a super class cast crew with Mallika Sherawat, Rahul Bose and the main component of all currently released movies, Mr Paresh Rawal. The story has loose ends trying to go astray into the issue of terrorism which along with the love story, terrorism and patriotism has made the movie a total confusion as such. The terrorism story was not needed in the movie and has added a negative point to the movie as a whole.

About Songs
When the movie has such a name, one would expect that be movie is set up in similar environments. The track ‘Pyar Kiya Tho Darna Kya’ is remixed to create the disco version for the club tracks. The song has an overall rap feeling and has been picturized very well colorfully. ‘Marmari Baahen’ is a good love track which will surely be loved by any lover. No music enthusiast can walk past this song without admiring it. The song has a slow pace but smoothening to the ears rendered well by Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan. One would be surprised to listen to Pankaj Udhas voice in the track ‘Ek Tho Sharab Kum’ which is of course a Ghazal. But the song is a very long one with most of the part covered by instrumentals. The tack ‘Ishqyiyaan’ is a very melodious track set in the 90s music and sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan.
