Bhagam Bhag is another illogical comedy standalone movie from Priyadarshan, but has twisted the movie in the second half to include a murder mystery. Until the interval, this Bollywood movie will grant you with all in all comedy. Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Govinda will make you laugh it out loud. The second half involves a murder story and has spoiled the whole effect of the movie. The story is about Paresh who runs a theater company with his two actors, Akshay and Govinda going abroad to England to perform shows there. They loose their lead actress in India, played by Tanushree Dutta and search for an actress in England. That’s when they bump into Lara Dutta who is an amnesia patient. She regains her memory to remember that she’s married to Arbaaaz. This starts off the murder track, which seems a lot unbelievable and does not fit into the story.

‘Bhagam Bhag’ songs has not come upto the level of Priyadarshans ‘Garam Masala’ which was a musical hit. The album begins with ‘Tere Bin’ which is a soft number for a fun flick. The song has two other versions to it. The remixed version has a simply added music to it deliberately done to give the song a peppy touch. The third one ‘Reprised’ seems rather better with Shreya Ghoshal. The song to be mentioned here is ‘Signal’ by Remo Fernandes which moulds well with the fun feel of the movie. DJ Amit has created a remix version to hit the dance floors. The item number ‘ Aa Khushi Se’ is a must hear from Songs.pk with Sunidhi Chauhan giving it her full dedication with the English vocals. The title track ‘Bhagam Bhag’ is just for the background track and not so soothing to the ears. Pritam’s ‘Afreen’ has a Middle East effect with a mix of rock and opera. But, the unusual combo doesn’t work any magic.
