Life in a Metro is a simple movie which says the story of 9 different people living in the metro city, Mumbai, that’s what Life in a Metro is all about. The Bollywood movie says stories of 4 different couples, but neatly intertwined together. The background scores and awesome songs of this film change the way people rate this film. Anurag Basu has proven his capacity of great storytelling. Sharman Joshi is a call center executive who loves his co worker Kangana, who in turn lures her boss for her own needs. The boss, Kay Kay is married to Shilpa Shetty with a 6 year old daughter. After a long period of boredom she eventually falls in love with Shiney Ahuja who is also a divorcee. The story that seemed a little off beat was that of Nafisa Ali and Dharmendra. Nafisa plays the role of Shilpa’s aunt in the movie. The love story between Irfaan Khan and Konkana Sen gives a little humor touch to the movie.

Life in a Metro Songs Album

Life in a Metro Songs is another success story after Gangster with Pritam and Anurag Basu joining hands. You wouldn’t find a female lead singer in the album. The first song of the album ‘In Dino’ is a Soft rock and reminds you of Pakistani rock songs. The songs works like a background score for the movie which suits all the stories in the movie with its 6 and a half minute length. The song also has a remixed version by Bunty Rajput in the album giving the punchy feel to the soft song. The song ‘Alvida’ starts with soft spoken poem and then rages into the ‘Alvida’ track. You can find the reprise version of ‘Alvida’ at Songs.pk. But you can feel a lift in most songs, but you will have to consider it a result of Pritam’s inspiration and not a lift. The lyrics of all the songs are worth mentioning and will surely touch your heart at its core.
