Hum Tum Songs

Hum Tum is a perfect mix of humor and emotions nicely set in US with Indian emotions. This bollywood movie tells the story of Indian youth, that however modern they may be, the Desi emotions and values still remains. Karan (Saif) meets Rhea (Rani Mukherjee) in the aircraft on the way to US. Saif and Rani are opposite thinkers and fight all the way to US in the flight. Finally Saif kisses Rani casually which takes her by surprise. They then meet six months later and Rani pulls it out as an after effect of the kiss. Saif looses his girlfriend in this act of rage. Their accidental meetings eventually bud into friendship. Saif stands by Rani in the difficulties that she faces in her life and the movie is taken through India, Europe and US. Destiny brings these two together after 10 years just to know that they had strong feelings hidden in them.

Songs of Hum Tum

The song ‘Ladki Kyoon’ is a conversational style song between Rani and Saif where the usual boy girl fight is depicted in the lyrics by Prasoon. The song is a sure hit in schools and colleges. ‘Chak De’ is a youthful song and asks one to live life to the full and forget all sorrows. The title track ‘Hum Tum’ takes you to a different world of love and romance. The instrumental version of the song in the rain will make you sit up and hear and dream all through. The cross gender fight is regained in ‘Gore Gore’ with female dominancy. Girls go now got their chances to pull at the boys legs. The duet ‘yaara Yaara’ is not so enticing as the title track, yet engulfing with Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan given the vocals. The rap-reggae-bhangra mix Mere Dil Vich HumTum’ is a different version to the title track and unlike all those simple remixes.
